Reciprocating
compressors create a low-pressure in the cylinder when
the piston moves from the high point of the stroke to
the low point.
Gaseous
product is drawn from the suction line into the cylinder.
This volume of gas is then displaced into the discharge
line when the piston moves to the top of the stroke.
Equipped
with high efficiency valves, ductile iron cylinders, self-adjusting
piston rod seals and over-sized bearings, these compressors
are designed to provide maximum performance and reliability
under the most severe service conditions.
