Company Profile

Information Systems

Tate Engineering Systems, Inc. utilizes a series of high level Dell servers to host the Sage Acc Pac ERP System, Sage Customer Resource Management (CRM) and the wireless Technisoft Service Manager. Acc Pac software functions include: inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales analysis, general ledger, order entry and purchasing. CRM software allows sales and marketing people to follow leads, produce quotes, convert quotes to orders, forecast sales, create marketing efforts and view related data in the Acc Pac and Service modules. Service Manager tracks and manages project and maintenance jobs that require service technician support as well as customer sites and equipment history. Powerful desk and laptop PC's at all of our branches are linked by an enterprise-wide Windows Server System that allows access to all of the above, as well as word processing, spreadsheet, E-mail and database activities. Tate operates a Meridian/Norstar Call Center with a fully configured T-1 service capability. Multiple WATS lines, toll-free 800 numbers and fax lines are available to support customer service requirements. Tate also utilizes VOIP technology for the concurrent support of voice over data on all dedicated data lines linking branch operations to its Baltimore headquarters. EDI capabilities, Internet e-mail support, major Website facilities, enables Tate to handle most electronic commerce requirements.
